I haven’t cared about my MySpace page for a long time cuz I don’t know anything about WEB thingy.

Most of the time that I can do is…just net surfing! hahaha

Anyway, I looked at some people’s profiles, and seach/copy/paste…then, somewhat it is done.

I went to Drift Day last weekend, both Sat and Sun…

I’ve received a new set of coilover kit, DG-5, for my s14 about 2 weeks ago from Drift Speed, and it was installed a week ago.

So…we went to the venue on Sat. 6am, which the courses were already made privous day.  So…I didn’t have much to do in the morning, so I was sleeping in the car until the time for course testing.  hahaha

Anyway, I tested 2 courses…and 2 runs/each course.  The rear tires on the car was just 20% left…and I still didn’t change the tires cuz I would spin out crazy if tires were gone.  Funny thing was…when I came back after the 4 runs…the both sides tire treads were gone and ripped the rubber.  Wow, I didn’t really spin.

It was a mess going on except Drift Day and Drift Day Autox on Sat…after the morning test, I didn’t have a chance to run at all. 

On Sun, it was Drift Day beginner & intermediate competition…The course was different from Sat., so we came to the venue 6am again.  Except the competitors, there was 1 course for other people.  After the advanced course was done, I was course testing.  It was raining…so when I went to the 2nd time, I span out big time…at that time, Quoc was videoing my driving…shame on me. hahaha

Somehow…I ended up judging figure 8 w/ Colin Frost.  It was fun…and our course champion was Zenia!  A girl drifter who drives AE86!  Congrats, girl.  She did really great! 

After the competition…I started testing on my coilover kit.  In the beginning, I was driving F: Full Soft, R: Full Soft…I tried figure 8 w/ 1st gear…OMG!  It was sooooo easy to handle!!   When I tested on the 3rd gear course, I felt something weird after the transition…felt like the front was stuck and didn’t go forward smoothly…(It did go forward since I was running…but I felt something like that.)  So…I made a change to F: Full Hard, R: Full Soft…OK, the symptom was disappeared.  And…after that…my rear tires were gone, and I changed to F: 15/30 (middle), R:Full soft…but I didn’t feel the difference. HAHAHA

Anyway…the drift car should be easy to handle to anyone from beginner to advanced…and my car got really close to the point…just more my experience, more power,  and fine adjustment!

So…yes, I only have used 4 different kind of coilover kit for my s14 including DG-5, and DG-5 worked the best for me!

I went to Laughlin, NV on Nov. 2007 for Formula D licensing event.  Most of the drivers were interviewed by Octane TV crews at that time…and I also got interviewed from them, but I haven’t seen any episode of me yet.  There were 4 female drivers out there, Verena, Tracy, Hiromi, and me…

So far, Octane TV had released about 10 episodes regarding Formula D ProAm @ Laughlin, and only Tracy was the one whose epsode was released.

And…yesterday I finally saw girls’ episode.  It was fun to play with girls…hahaha

I was planning on going to Willow Springs @ Balcony this weekend for a magazine/photo shoot. I got this info. last Sun and I tried to prepare my car for that. Since my clutch started wearing out, I rushed to get the replacement & installed. Thank you, Jim Wolf Technology, Technosquare, M-Workz & Taka, soooo much for their effort for me.

Anyway…I needed to change my tires, so I towed my car to my work…and after I arrived here, I got a phone call that it was cancelled. So sad…I didn’t even need to bring my car today. O well, the person who informed me also got last minutes notice…and he was screwed, too. Soooo sad. I just feel really guilty to my sponsors that helped me out. ;_;

I also have a happy news, too! :D  My very new sponsor, Drift Speed support me this year.

They are the US distributor for DG-5 suspension (coil-over kit) from Japan.

This DG-5 is developed for drifters by Mr. Tsuchiya & a lot of Top D1 drivers are using this product.  I don’t have that much problem w/ my coil-over in this point, but it should make a big difference!  I am so excited.

I think I am going to install them in this weekend, or otherwise…sometime in next week by next drift day.

And I am planning on changing the clutch master cylinder for my s14.  I am going to buy an aftermarket one today!  The place told me they have a CDM one in stock…but I ordered JDM one…of course, the price was more expensive, but I think it worth.

Anyway, I always get really great support from people…so thank you very much!!

It was a half good day on Sat.  It was BOSO Garage Opening Fest @ their place.  It was a great event…a lot of people came.

Taka took his cressida wagon to get there like 11am, and on the way…we used freeway and hit the starter on the road. (I am not sure how it was there…) Our front car hit it and moved it to in front of us…so it wasn’t avoidable.  We heard  hitting noise and stuck for a while to get out from underneath of the car. And…we checked after we got to BOSO Garage…the oil was leaking.  So…it was a hole on the oil pan.  The car was left at street.

And we went to lunch w/ Ed from R & D Factory, Mr. Orido, the president of MSC, Taka & Hiro.  We came back to BOSO Garage and stayed there until they finish the event.  Then we went home and brought pick-up and trailer and tow back cressida wagon home.

It was a really nice day except the car issue…hahaha

On Sun, we supposed to have girls meet.  We should have 8-9 girls show up, but only 5 came including me.  Girls… :(  I had one girl told me if it rains, she won’t come…but where were other girls…??  O well. Anyhow, we just walked around in the mall and left. hahaha It was freezing cold when we left, so just went back home straight.

Yesterday, I got my hair cut. Over all, it came OK, but it looks totally different from the pix I posted. hahaha

So, the hair salon was in Torrance, and it was really difficult to find. I was lost for 15mins to get there. Anyhow, I managed to get there exactly 6:30pm and opened the door.

A young boy was there by himself and looked at me like…”why are you here?”…, so I told him, “I have an appointment @ 6:30pm today…” And he told me the person cut hair just left for shopping. I was like WT…? He called the lady and told her I was @ the salon already, I think cuz it was in Korean…and he just told me she would be back soon. OK, now I need to wait.

I found this place from a Japanese Town Magazine, so I was expecting it was a Japanese salon. I saw a lot of Korean flyers and magazines all over! I don’t have any problem w/ Koreans, but it was just different from my expectation. hahaha

So…the lady came back like 20mins, and I was almost pissed that I had to wait for that long. Well, she was excusing like, “Ooo, I thought I have a time to go shopping…” Ya, then if she really had a time, why was I waiting for 20mins? :<

Anyway, I showed some pix of hair style including posted yesterday and explained how I wanted. I usually don’t really care about my hair, but I need to take some pix on this Sat, so it needed to be at least OK looking. And I didn’t want to be looked like 70’s or 80’s oldie hair style, either. She just looked over the pix and started chopping my hair!! And w/out wetting my hair!! I’ve already started really worried how it would be.

When she finished chopping my hair all over, she started using a scissors w/ many gaps to adjust my hair…I probably looked at her for a while like “WTF are you doing to my hair?????”, so she told me “Don’t worry it will look good.” I was like….”OOooKeeii”

After she finished the first part of her cutting, she told me to go to shampoo my hair…ya, it felt really good. The young boy did that part. The shampoo had mint in it…so my head felt soo cool. hahaha

I came back to the cutting chair (?), and she got Lazar blade kinda thingy to make my hair thinner! Ya, I was surprised again…I haven’t seen that technique for loooong time. And I felt like I became really bold since she took a lot of hair w/ the blade. hahaha

Then she brow-dry my hair half way, my hair started after the explosion!! Ya, my hair is wavy!! Then she used a hair iron to make my hair straight. And she showed me my back hair that I was really worried…O well, the hair was totally looked different from the pix I brought. BUT it wasn’t bad at all. I was surprised again. hahaha

Ya, the lady was old, so she should have many experiences…but I had to wait for 20mins even if I got there on time. I saw a lot of Korean letters all over, and she chopped my hair w/ dry hair and used lazer brade to thinnning my hair…all of these unusual experience made me feel and show to her, “Did I come to the wrong place??”

Over all, it was really weird experience, but I can go back next time!! hahaha Now, I feel it was funny!

Yesterday morning, I woke up really early cuz I felt cold. I always turn on the heater at home in winter. And sometimes I kick my blankets because I get too hot. After a while, I usually wake up cuz I get cold w/out blankets. BUT , I had full blankets on me and woke up cuz I felt cold!!

Anyway, I went back to bed after I woke up cuz it was too early to wake up.

I cut my bangs a couple days ago, and I needed to have my hair cut rest of my area. I was calling a couple of hair salons, but they were all booked for this weeks, especially after my work time. Finally, I found a salon and booked for tonight! Yay. The person picked up the phone @ the salon sounded like an old lady, so I am kinda scared if she is the one who does my hair…haha O, well. Will see how I look.

OMG…it’s been soooo cold.  I can freeze to death. 

Anyway, I have been caring about my “Come Back Youth (?)” kinda thingy for a while.  Because of that, my skin keeps peeling well…but it doesn’t change my look younger at all.  Long time ago, I think I was net-surfing and found an article showed that…if the temples of your head are caved in, you look older.  So…I cut bangs about 6-7 inches to cover my temples. hahaha

BUT…since I can only cut my bangs…my side and back are the same as before.  Yes, probably it looks retarded (I mean  old style?) if I make my hair straight now.  I was introduced 1 hair salon in Torrance and called for an appointment, but the place was all booked for the time I wanted to come in for this week.

I found a Japanese hair style catalog online that you can create w/ the model hair styles w/ your face.  And I found a couple of nice ones that I wanted to try…so I asked my boss to take pic of me & modified w/ models hair.  DANG!  One looked not that bad since it was kinda side view…but the other one was horrible!!  It was a front view pic…and it became like a primitive man w/ a wig on…

I saw March issue modified magazine today, and it had a feature of Pro Am National event coverage.  Thanks, Jacob from Everything Drift for the article & pix! :)  I have been totally out from media coverages for a long time.  I need to come back soon!

It’s been a while since I went to Junk yards (Pick-ur-parts) last time. On sun, we went to Junk Yards w/ some of the friends. I was on the skin mode, so I didn’t really wanted to get under the sun…so I put a lot of sun block and went out. Anyway, we went to 2 places and found a couple of cars we were looking for. Since I started driving 240sx, I didn’t really wanted to go cuz no s14 was available at Junk yards.

Yah, yah, yah…it was fun! Once in a while, it is a good place to go. hahaha Other friends who went w/ us got soooo dirty all over. We usually brings gloves, but ended up we touch w/ bare hands. O well.

At the last drift day…the girls were talking about having dinner together.  Of course, I am not a girl, but I was included in the plan.  Anyhow, the date was kinda decided…and I kinda forgot until girls sent me text messages. hahaha

I started my skin care thingy…my face was totally red and peeling a lot.  And…it hurt that I couldn’t open my mouth that big.  Anyway, I went to the place…of course, I was late as usual. hahaha  I was the 7th WOMAN that came, and total 8 ladies got together…O wow.  I was surprised.  I thought it would be only a couple of girls.  It was nice night, and food was great.  Also price was good, too.  We spread the bill…but I wasn’t sure if it was really enough!?  As I expected…I had a big trouble opening my mouth as I expected.

It was a Chinese restaurant…and  all the girls were intested in drifting! hahaha We can make some team.

Well, we were saying we should have this more often…ya, that’s great.  Just let me know when and remind me well cuz I forget. hahaha Thank you girls for inviting me to the party!

My skin-wise, it is still peeling pretty good and totally dry.  I feel like I got BAD sun burn.
